Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technology Leader to join our dynamic team at Publicis Sapient. This role involves collaborating with C-level executives across various sectors to spearhead the implementation of large-scale engineering transformations within the Energy & Commodities (E&C) domain. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering top-tier digital technology solutions tailored to our diverse clientele.

Key Responsibilities

Your main duties will include:

  • Designing and executing enterprise-level solutions that transition our clients into innovative, customer-focused, and digitally advanced organizations.
  • Leading technical design, strategic planning, and project delivery while promoting the adoption of best practices.
  • Fostering the growth and development of technology teams and talent within Publicis Sapient.
  • Collaborating with global leadership to establish a forward-thinking vision for digital and mobile technology solutions across multiple industries.
  • Inspiring a future technology vision for both the company and its clients.
Qualifications

Your expertise should include:

  • A proven history of successful enterprise-scale technology transformations and leadership of globally distributed technology teams.
  • Exceptional consulting, presentation, and client advisory capabilities.
  • Demonstrated experience in the Energy & Commodities sector.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • Experience managing large, distributed teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in agile methodologies (SCRUM/Kanban).
  • Deep knowledge of modern architectural patterns and engineering practices to enhance delivery speed for enterprise and mobile solutions, including:
    • Development technologies such as Java, JavaScript (ES6/ES2015), Kotlin, Python, and Go-Lang.
    • DevOps tools (CI/CD, Aggregated Logging & Metrics) for enterprise-scale and mobile application development and deployment.
    • Distributed architecture, Microservices, and API design.
    • Building high-performance systems.
    • Cloud platforms and migration strategies.
    • Quality Engineering and Shift Left methodologies (automated testing, BDD, TDD).
  • Ability to tackle complex technical challenges.
  • A continuous learning mindset.
  • External engagement through contributions to open source, speaking at industry events, or authoring publications is a plus.
