Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Investment Director to lead our investment activities with a pan-European responsibility. The successful candidate will oversee our deal pipeline, screen, identify, and source investment opportunities, and drive acquisitions across the entire transaction process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Tion's investment activities with a pan-European responsibility
  • Oversee Tion's deal pipeline in close cooperation with the management
  • Screen, identify, and source investment opportunities
  • Structure and drive acquisitions across the entire transaction process
  • Prepare investment committee documents and participate in investment committee meetings
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with development and sourcing partners
  • Manage and develop investment team members
Requirements
  • Significant work experience in finance, mergers & acquisitions, investment banking, or private equity within the renewables or infrastructure space
  • Strong passion for and exceptional expertise in investing and corporate finance
  • Dedicated technology expertise in Solar PV or onshore wind, previous experience with BESS is considered a plus
  • A highly ambitious attitude to strive for excellence and continuous growth
  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with the ability to think critically, ask the right questions, and dig deep
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, strong sense of ownership, and hands-on team player mentality
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
  • The ability to drive projects end-to-end with excellent project and stakeholder management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and at least one of the languages Polish, Spanish, or Italian
