Job Summary

LOGISTIC PEOPLE (Deutschland) GmbH is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Import Specialist to join our team. As an Import Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating the importation of goods, managing customs clearance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with suppliers and carriers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods
  • Manage customs clearance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Prepare and process import documents, including commercial invoices and bills of lading
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth importation process
  • Identify and resolve any issues related to importation, including delays and discrepancies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in importation or logistics
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software
