Job Summary

CTDI is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining telecommunications equipment and networks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and configure telecommunications equipment and networks
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing equipment and networks
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with equipment and networks
  • Slice and test fiber optic cables
  • Travel throughout Germany to perform installation and maintenance work
  • Use mobile applications to provide real-time feedback and updates

Requirements

  • Technical education or training in a related field (e.g. electronics, telecommunications)
  • Relevant work experience in a related field
  • Hand-on skills and experience with fiber optic cable installation and testing
  • Experience with measurement technology
  • Knowledge of optical data transmission is a plus
  • Excellent German language skills and good English language skills are desired
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Valid driver's license (Class B)
