About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Cofinity-X GmbH. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • CI/CD Pipeline Management: Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment of software applications.
  • Automation Expertise: Automate operations using microservices, scripts, and other tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement automatic security reports based on industry standards (NIST, OWASP) to ensure compliance and data security.
  • Database Optimization: Analyze and optimize database performance, including query optimization, indexing strategies, and schema design.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our infrastructure team to create an automated continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD) system.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experienced DevOps engineer with a background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Cloud Expertise: Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Automation Skills: Experience with fully automating CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, from code commits to production.
  • Database Knowledge: Extensive experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Communication Skills: Proven track record of optimizing database performance and troubleshooting complex database issues.
