(Senior) Data Analytics Consultant for Deal Advisory (w/m/d)

As a (Senior) Data Analytics Consultant for Deal Advisory (w/m/d), you will join a vibrant team of data specialists dedicated to delivering innovative and data-driven insights for our clients. You will collaborate closely with seasoned Deal Advisory professionals and have the opportunity to engage in various projects and challenges.

Your Responsibilities

  • Utilize your business and technology expertise effectively in the transaction environment for national and international M&A transactions by preparing, modeling, analyzing, and visualizing complex data.
  • Advise private equity funds and corporations on complex buy-side and sell-side transactions, as well as on the ongoing optimization of their subsidiaries.
  • Employ your creativity to craft compelling narratives based on selected data sources and analyses directly for our clients.
  • Support the development of new big data solutions to identify data-driven insights and value creation opportunities.
  • Contribute your expertise in team-oriented, interdisciplinary, and agile projects.
  • Experience a diverse and challenging workday along with various training opportunities for methodology, subject matter expertise, and technical skills, allowing for a steep learning curve.
Your Profile
  • You hold a degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a comparable field.
  • You possess initial professional experience, ideally in the transaction environment, in areas such as Transaction Services, Valuation, M&A, Strategy, or Restructuring.
  • Your studies have equipped you with strong knowledge in Data Analytics/Data Science or practical applications.
  • You are proficient with various tools from the Data Analytics toolkit, particularly PowerQuery, Alteryx, PowerBI, Tableau, Python, and SQL.
  • Initial experience with machine learning and cloud environments (Azure) is advantageous.
  • You are willing to travel and adaptable.
  • You are fluent in both German and English.
