Data Manager and ICT Process Coordinator in Construction Administration

Position Overview:
This role encompasses responsibilities in data governance and ICT project management, focusing on:

  • Leading initiatives and assisting the management in strategizing, designing, and executing ICT projects aimed at enhancing digital processes related to construction and property management.
  • Assessing and documenting current core operations, organizational interactions, specialized applications, and data connections across various departments utilizing property-related information.
  • Exploring opportunities and synergies for optimizing business workflows.
  • Prioritizing business operations in collaboration with management.
  • Modeling processes for digitization and aligning the target system with all stakeholders involved.
  • Facilitating collaborative working groups for diverse projects.
  • Preparing and delivering training sessions.
  • Initiating ICT projects to realize the defined target system, transition to new software solutions, and migrate existing systems.
  • Serving as the ICT project management representative in accordance with the ICT role framework of the Berlin administration for cross-functional ICT processes; developing concepts for the implementation and operation of ICT procedures.
ICT Procedure Coordination:Acting as the primary ICT contact for relevant matters.Executing procedure and service coordination duties per the ICT role framework, including planning, introducing, developing, and managing ICT operations across all departments.Implementing a Project Communication Management System, facilities management software, and various other ICT tools.Ensuring compliance with data security and protection regulations.Conducting ICT requirements management and tasks; developing cross-functional ICT procedures.Coordinating ICT role holders and their responsibilities across departments.Creating and regularly updating ICT security concepts, ensuring the implementation of security measures.Representing the organization in ICT discussions with district IT management and external service providers.Preparing proposals regarding organizational and financial matters related to ICT deployment and procurement.Establishing ICT requirements planning for budget and investment considerations.Managing licenses for ICT procedures and services.

Qualifications:

A completed technical or university degree in Computer Science, Administrative Informatics, or equivalent qualifications.Experience in the CAFM application area is preferred.Technical Skills:
Extensive knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including procurement law and technical facility management.Strong IT understanding, including networks and user software.Knowledge of data security and legal foundations for IT management.
