At IU Internationale Hochschule, we invite you to take the next step in your career as a Senior Salesforce Engineer (m/f/d). This role can be fulfilled from various locations or remotely within Germany.


As a Senior Salesforce Engineer, you will be instrumental in creating, developing, and sustaining sophisticated Salesforce solutions that propel our organization forward. Your expertise will be crucial in delivering high-quality, scalable solutions tailored to meet our business needs.

Your Responsibilities
  • Design and implement effective Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and other relevant technologies.
  • Develop and maintain efficient code while adhering to best practices and design patterns within the Salesforce framework.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to convert intricate business requirements into dependable Salesforce solutions.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems and third-party applications via REST and SOAP APIs, ensuring smooth data exchange and functionality.
  • Customize Salesforce environments to address specific business requirements, utilizing custom objects, fields, formulas, workflows, and approval processes.
  • Stay updated on the latest Salesforce features, releases, and best practices, integrating new technologies and methodologies to foster continuous improvement.
Your Profile
  • Several years of practical experience in Salesforce development, with a strong command of Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and familiarity with languages such as Java, C#, or similar.
  • Experience in database management and proficiency in SOQL and SQL query languages.
  • Knowledge of integrating Salesforce with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
  • Familiarity with web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their application within the Salesforce environment.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication skills, capable of conveying technical information clearly and concisely.
