- Conducting quality assurance of atmospheric measurement data
- Generating monthly summaries for operational solar measurement facilities
- Performing solar resource evaluations and contributing to the enhancement of our standards
- Managing database hosting and performing maintenance (HDF database)
- Facilitating seamless execution of solar measurement initiatives through active collaboration with the meteorological team: Evaluating meteorological and site-specific data
- Assisting in the setup of remote measurement stations
- Utilizing quantitative analyses and qualitative techniques to compile research findings and draft management-focused reports
- Creating impactful presentations for both internal and external audiences
- Are preferably pursuing a degree in meteorology or possess equivalent academic credentials
- Have a solid grasp of meteorological principles
- Possess substantial experience with Python and LaTeX
- Have familiarity with GIS (QGIS), PVSyst, and AutoCAD as beneficial
- Show interest in renewable energy sectors, meteorology, environmental assessments, and economic factors
- Have a foundational understanding of electronics and measurement methodologies as an advantage
- Exhibit teamwork skills, an open-minded attitude in interdisciplinary and multicultural settings, and a keen interest in networking
- Are analytical, data-driven, and solution-oriented
- Are proficient in standard MS Office software
- Are fluent in English and German, with additional language skills (e.g., French or Spanish) being a plus
- Demonstrate a self-driven, meticulous, and independent work ethic
