As an Internal Control Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and enhancing the Internal Control System (ICS) across the Deutsche Börse Group. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring effective management of process-level risks throughout all entities.
Key Responsibilities- Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of processes, risks, and controls, assessing their design and operational effectiveness. Engage with process owners to discuss findings and align on necessary improvements.
- Facilitation of Assessments: Lead Risk and Control Self-Assessments, ensuring quality assurance and providing support to the first line of defense.
- Remediation Support: Assist in the effective remediation of identified control deficiencies, reviewing planned actions and monitoring implementation measures.
- Framework Enhancement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the ICS Framework by identifying stakeholder needs and translating them into actionable results, including practical guidance and training initiatives.
- Collaboration: Work closely with various DBG entities and their ICS teams, ensuring effective implementation of the ICS Framework across the organization.
- Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor the overall effectiveness of the ICS and prepare comprehensive reports for Senior and Executive Management.
- A degree in a relevant field related to Risk Management.
- Experience in Operational Risk Management or Internal Control, preferably within financial services or banking sectors.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., MaRisk, CSSF 12/552, CSDR) and frameworks such as COSO and COBIT/ITIL.
- Excellent analytical, conceptual, and critical thinking skills, with a proven ability to identify problems and propose effective solutions.
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of French or German is advantageous.
