In this internship, you will collaborate closely with our finance and accounting departments, contributing to essential financial operations while gaining invaluable experience in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance. This role offers exposure to a diverse array of finance and accounting activities, such as financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and auditing.

The mission is to harness the extensive potential of cross-border supply for the Western Market by delivering global access to premium products through a cutting-edge platform. Since its inception, the firm has discreetly served numerous clients without public exposure.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in preparing financial documents, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Support financial analysis initiatives by collecting and interpreting financial data to uncover trends, variances, and areas for enhancement.
- Help maintain precise financial records while ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and accounting principles.
- Contribute to accounts payable and receivable tasks by processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Assist in tax filing preparations and compliance efforts, including gathering necessary documentation and completing required forms.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Growth, Operations, Tech) to facilitate financial projects and initiatives as required.
- Currently enrolled (or recently graduated) in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Proficient in German and possess good English language skills.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret financial data and derive meaningful insights.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective teamwork.
- Detail-oriented with robust organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Proactive mindset and eagerness to learn in a dynamic environment.
This role is based in the Berlin office of our portfolio company. Eligibility to work within the EU is required.
