Position Overview
The Engineering Manager for Prüftechnik Non-destructive Testing (NDT) is tasked with steering a diverse engineering team dedicated to the innovation and implementation of top-tier NDT solutions. This role encompasses a balance of technical guidance on product design, consultancy on industry best practices, and personalized mentoring for team members.
This individual will possess a strong technical background, understanding the intricacies of engineering tasks, while being accountable for fulfilling product commitments and fostering opportunities for performance enhancement and career advancement among team members. They will adjust departmental strategies and priorities to address immediate objectives and operational hurdles. The Engineering Manager will report directly to the Senior Engineering Manager.
Your Team
The engineering manager will lead a team of approximately 10 professionals, including both direct employees and contractors. The majority of the team operates from the Munich area, with expertise spanning Software, Hardware, Project Coordination, and Technical Documentation.

- Influencing product and technology roadmaps by leveraging technical insights and assessing technical debt.
- Facilitating prioritization, planning, risk evaluation, and analysis of dependencies to achieve product milestones.
- Encouraging communication, collaboration, and problem-solving among teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications
- A minimum of three years of experience in an engineering management role.
- At least three years of experience in the development and delivery of commercially viable NDT solutions.
- A minimum of three years of experience utilizing Agile methodologies in product development.
- Proven understanding of product-market fit for products where you have served as the engineering leader.
