Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Director to join our team. As a key member of our compliance team, you will be responsible for drafting and reviewing standard documents, providing legal support for daily company affairs, and assisting in the implementation of compliance management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft and review standard documents, terms, and agreements to ensure compliance with EU regulations.
  • Assist in the setup and implementation of compliance management systems to ensure adherence to EU laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate legal processes such as notarization of company documents and application/maintenance of business licenses in different jurisdictions.
  • Support data privacy activities in accordance with EU legislation and handle legal issues related to business activities within the EU.
  • Conduct phone conversations with clients, courts, and authorities, and handle correspondence in German and English.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Law or equivalent qualification.
  • Fluent in Chinese, English, and German.
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Familiarity with local EU information security regulations, EU internal power-related policies, and business rules.
  • Strong organizational skills and a desire to understand the business and company relationships.
  • Excellent team collaborator with strong communication skills.
  • Prior interest or experience in residential photovoltaics or renewable energy field is a plus.
