Transparency International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our efforts in promoting financial integrity and combating corruption. As a Thematic Lead, Financial Integrity, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our policy and advocacy strategies to prevent the flow of dirty money and promote transparency and accountability in the financial sector.
Key Responsibilities- Lead Policy Development: Develop and implement policy positions and recommendations on financial integrity, anti-money laundering, and anti-corruption.
- Advocacy and Engagement: Engage with governments, international organizations, and civil society to promote financial integrity and combat corruption.
- Programme Management: Manage and coordinate the implementation of our financial integrity programme, including the development of evidence-based policy papers and submissions to relevant public consultations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including governments, international organizations, and civil society, to promote financial integrity and combat corruption.
- Knowledge Management: Develop and maintain knowledge and expertise on financial integrity and anti-corruption issues, and provide technical advice to the TI-S management and other teams.
- Postgraduate Degree: A postgraduate degree in a relevant field, such as social science, public policy, journalism, international law, economics, or management.
- Experience: At least 7 years of experience in anti-money laundering and anti-corruption, preferably in the fields of research, policy, or advocacy.
- Expertise: High-level expertise in anti-money laundering, illicit financial flows, and anti-corruption, including experience in engaging with governments and international organizations.
- Language Skills: Excellent communication skills in English, with additional languages such as French and/or Spanish an asset.
- Intercultural Competence: High-level intercultural competence, diplomacy, and political sensitivity.
