Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Systems Engineer in Radar and Algorithmics (f/m/d) for our ISR and Space Radar Engineering department. This role is pivotal in the development of airborne reconnaissance radar systems utilized in both manned and unmanned aerial vehicles.Your responsibilities will encompass the integration of cutting-edge radar technologies, guiding projects from initial concepts through to algorithm development. You will also have the chance to apply your innovations to enhance existing products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and advancement of state-of-the-art radar technologies
- System development aligned with CONOPS or specified requirements
- Design elaboration with alternative evaluations
- Algorithm development for radar data processing, including SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) modes
- Collaboration with team members and national/international partners
- Documentation and presentation of your findings, potentially on an international scale
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or a related field
- Experience with Matlab is advantageous
- Familiarity with radar technology and signal processing
- Capacity to work autonomously within a specialized and efficient team
- Strong motivation and resilience
- Team-oriented with a self-directed and goal-focused work ethic
- Proficient in both German and English
