About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Robotics Software Engineer to join our team at Magazino GmbH. As a key member of our robotics team, you will be responsible for contributing to the enhancement of our system-wide robot software stack, creating innovative behaviors for our robots, and taking part in the upkeep of our internal codebase.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain our robot software stack, ensuring seamless integration with SOTO, TORU, and other robots.
  • Design and implement complex behaviors for our robots using our Behavior Tree formalism.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and prioritize software development tasks.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members on robotics-related topics.
Requirements
  • PhD or M.Sc. in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional software engineering and database experience.
  • Proficiency in Python and ROS on Linux platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a positive mindset.
  • Nice to have: experience with developing complex robots, designing and executing behavior trees, and proficiency in logic programming.
  • Fluent English is required, good knowledge of German preferred.
