Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Standortentwicklung Specialist to join our team at REWE. As a key member of our Expansion and Portfoliomanagement team, you will be responsible for evaluating and approving national expansion projects. Your expertise in location analysis and market research will help us make informed decisions about new store openings and expansions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough location analyses to identify potential expansion sites and assess their feasibility.
• Develop and maintain relationships with regional expansion teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement expansion strategies that align with our business goals.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform our expansion decisions.
• Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date market research and analysis reports.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to senior management on expansion-related matters.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in (Wirtschafts-)Geographie, Raumplanung, Stadt- und Regionalplanung, or Immobilienmanagement.
• Proven experience in location analysis, market research, and expansion strategy development.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
