CREDIT RISK MANAGEMENT
The Credit Risk team is responsible for overseeing the company's credit exposure to trading and lending partners. - Conduct thorough credit assessments and financial evaluations of corporate borrowers and counterparties, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques.
- Review lending and underwriting activities, establish risk tolerance levels, and form independent assessments of cash flow forecasts and critical document safeguards.
- Perform regular sector analyses to identify portfolio trends and concentrations.
- Collaborate with teams across Investment Banking, Sales & Trading, Legal, Operations, and Compliance to authorize derivatives transactions, ensuring appropriate documentation and risk management practices to mitigate counterparty risks.
- Evaluate the inherent risks associated with the company's products, including lending, trading, and derivatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with various internal stakeholders, including Global Banking & Markets, Asset & Wealth Management, Controllers, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, and Technology.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in credit risk management, with a strong emphasis on corporate credit.
- In-depth experience with investment banking products, particularly loans and derivatives.
- Proven ability to make independent decisions and effectively navigate client and business negotiations.
- Comprehensive understanding of regulatory rating standards and their implementation.
- Exceptional skills in documentation, analysis, presentation, and communication.
- Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team, providing mentorship and guidance to junior members.
- Effective communication skills at senior management levels.
