ESG/Sustainable Finance Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ESG/Sustainable Finance Consultant to join our team at Exxeta. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with national and international banks, asset managers, and start-ups to support their sustainable development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice on sustainable finance and ESG strategies to our clients.
  • Analyze the impact of new regulatory requirements and support clients in planning, conception, and implementation.
  • Support clients in developing their sustainability strategies, reporting, and ESG risk management.
  • Take on various roles in projects and have the opportunity to develop into a project leader.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative ideas and solutions.
Requirements
  • Personal Background: Bachelor's degree in economics, law, business administration, or a technical field, preferably with a focus on sustainability.
  • Industry Knowledge: Relevant experience in a consulting firm, asset management, fintech, or banking, preferably in the ESG/Sustainability field.
  • Familiarity with regulatory developments in sustainable finance, such as CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy Regulation, and EU Disclosure Regulation.
  • Strong understanding of ESG factors and their impact on sustainability strategies and risk management.
  • Mindset: High level of initiative, strong team and responsibility awareness, conceptual and analytical strength, and willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Mobility: Flexibility and willingness to travel for national and international projects.
  • Language Skills: Fluent German and English language skills.
