The Quality Specialist for EMEA will focus on enhancing product quality and quality processes within the Adhesives portfolio, particularly in contract manufacturing across the EMEA region. This role requires adaptability to shifting business priorities and immediate needs.
Position Responsibilities:
- Ensure the effective application and execution of business processes that impact quality.
- Lead and facilitate projects within Adhesives aimed at improving product quality and quality processes.
- Manage and prioritize quality improvement opportunities for the Adhesives business.
- Collaborate with global functions to align on priorities, best practices, and performance metrics.
- Utilize quality data (e.g., customer complaints, plant metrics) to support cross-functional partners in enhancing product quality.
- Investigate customer complaints, prepare 8D reports, and resolve issues with customers.
- Monitor the quality management system's effectiveness and communicate improvement opportunities to leadership.
- Lead and participate in change management reviews that may affect product quality.
- Conduct audits of various facilities to ensure customer requirements are met and leverage findings for continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in German and English
- Several years of experience in quality assurance and control systems.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Physical Sciences, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Training in Six Sigma and other improvement methodologies is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ISO, IATF, Automotive Core Tools (FMEA, Control Plan, etc.), and other quality standards is preferred.
- Experience as a quality systems auditor is a plus.
Other Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated technical writing proficiency.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in team settings.
- Proven ability to manage time and resources effectively to achieve results.
