Overview
We are seeking a dedicated "Finance Business Partner" within the "F&C Naval, SecSol, Space and Commercial Solution" division at our Oberkochen location. This department plays a crucial role in managing commercial aspects of projects and providing acquisition support for advanced naval systems, high-performance optics, and airborne sensors. Responsibilities include everything from quotation support and costing to the management of commercial order processes through to project completion.Key Responsibilities
Oversee the commercial management of projects, serving as the primary contact for project managers, product managers, and bid managers on commercial and contractual matters. Manage commercial project oversight, including monitoring and reporting on contractual implications such as penalties, warranties, liabilities, and claims. Prepare bid calculations and oversee the commercial sections of proposals. Ensure compliance with accounting standards relevant to the project, including HGB, IAS, and IFRS15, along with price verification and auditing. Conduct project controlling and co-calculation for managed projects, including CtC/EAC analyses and target/actual comparisons to proactively identify deviations or issues. Participate in development project controlling, focusing on target tracking. Contribute to the formulation of proposals for corrective actions. Assist in the awarding of contracts to both internal and external entities and support the processing of export licenses. Aid in periodic planning processes, including operational planning, budgeting, and statistical analysis for the business unit.Candidate Profile
Degree in business administration or a related field. Extensive experience in finance and/or sales. Familiarity with project management is advantageous. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and knowledgeable in SAP (SD/PS module). Understanding of public pricing laws is a plus. Strong analytical skills, with an independent and proactive approach to work. Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and teamwork capabilities.
