Senior Project Manager

noris network AG is a prominent provider of IT outsourcing, cloud solutions, network security, and data center services. With a dedicated team of over 500 professionals, we emphasize the ongoing development and support of our workforce. We are currently looking for a skilled project manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee intricate IT infrastructure projects and innovative initiatives related to cloud computing and data centers.
  • Define and outline project specifications upon receiving project requests.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, timeline management, stakeholder engagement, and project structuring.
  • Coordinate project execution, ensuring that objectives are achieved regarding timelines, quality standards, and project scope.
  • Engage with clients at the executive level throughout project execution and manage any escalations that arise.
  • Implement risk management strategies, including time, cost, payment, claims, and opportunity assessments.
  • Utilize both traditional and agile methodologies, such as Scrum, to lead projects effectively.
  • Supervise the implementation and technical leadership of the project team from contract signing to operational readiness.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of internal processes, including improvements in project management and mentoring.

Required Qualifications:

  • Completed technical or commercial education, with several years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects and software initiatives.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in managing project teams.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and standards; PMI and Scrum Master certifications are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and proactive skills.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual abilities, with a keen understanding of client needs.
  • Experience with project management tools, including ticket systems, Jira, and MS Office.
  • Fluency in German and proficient English communication skills.
