About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team at Deutsche Bank Technology in Berlin. As a key member of our process automation squads, you will design, develop, and document microservice-based and Cloud-native application components that meet business requirements and technical requirements such as observability, scalability, and stability/resilience.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust and reusable code using Java, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality standards and contribute to technical discussions and architecture decisions within the team.
  • Work in a cross-disciplined agile team with shared responsibility and high autonomy, actively engaging in the engineering community and sharing knowledge.
  • Collaborate with junior engineers to mentor and support their growth and development.

Your Skills and Experience

  • University degree with a technological or scientific focus or equivalent working experience.
  • Several years of experience in full-stack development, with a strong background in Java, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies.
  • Practical experience with DevOps tools such as OpenShift, TeamCity, and cloud-based environments (ideally Google Cloud Platform).
  • Familiarity with agile work and the ability to execute the full SDLC.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate fluently in English, with German being a plus.
