Role Overview:
As a Precision Assembler, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that production orders are fulfilled efficiently and effectively. Your primary responsibility will be to utilize available resources optimally while adhering to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
This position is offered on a temporary basis for a duration of 12 months.
Key Responsibilities:
Assembly Preparation
- Retrieve and interpret technical drawings.
- Assess the availability of components and materials based on production schedules.
- Prepare and organize parts and materials for assembly.
- Adjust the order of assembly as necessary to accommodate changes.
- Monitor and report on the status of Kanban containers.
- Document all assembly processes meticulously.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate assembly workflows.
- Assemble components according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Set up testing and assembly equipment, making adjustments as required.
- Execute the assembly of multi-layered components.
- Assemble various modules and products, including custom assemblies.
- Address and rectify minor defects during assembly.
- Report any non-repairable defects and provide insights to supervisors.
- Transport materials to subsequent workstations as needed.
Quality Control:
- Verify the functionality, quality, and completeness of assembled components.
- Identify defects in products and components, including tolerance issues and material failures.
- Rectify defects through replacement or adjustment of parts.
- Document defects by type and frequency for quality assurance purposes.
- Suggest corrective actions based on identified issues.
- Analyze assembly processes for potential improvements.
Maintenance Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Candidate Profile:
- 1-2 years of experience in precision assembly.
- Proficient in written and spoken German.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks.
- Strong team collaboration skills.
- Responsible and proactive in work approach.
