SIGNAL IDUNA stands as a prominent provider in the insurance and financial services sector, with a strong presence in Hamburg and Dortmund. As a Public Cloud Architect, you will be instrumental in advancing our cloud platform and infrastructure, with a primary focus on Google Cloud. Your role will encompass leading cloud transformation initiatives, designing and implementing the cloud platform, and ensuring operational support.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine frameworks for cloud-based infrastructures and applications.
- Architect and manage cloud solutions, particularly within Google Cloud, to facilitate workload migrations.
- Enhance SIGNAL IDUNA’s platforms on Google Cloud while establishing standardized operational processes.
- Contribute to the development of cloud security strategies and modernize architectural standards.

Your Profile:
- Experience with public cloud technologies and infrastructure, ideally with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- A degree in Information Technology or a related field.
- Proficiency in cloud infrastructures and operations within a corporate environment.
- Familiarity with modern IT architectures and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in German.
Location:
