About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Systems Engineer to join our Cabin Safety team at MOIA Operations Germany GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing cutting-edge solutions for vehicle integration, ensuring the safety and security of our passengers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software solutions for embedded systems, ensuring high reliability and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate camera-based cabin surveillance solutions and monitor passenger safety.
  • Develop and optimize software solutions to meet business goals, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Plan and execute tests for functionality and performance evaluation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Contribute to alignments with suppliers and partners, ensuring smooth collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Support the team with expert knowledge and guidance in embedded engineering, mentoring colleagues and providing direction as needed.
  • Participate in the full development life cycle, from design to implementation, quality assurance, and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Strong focus on C++ software development on embedded hardware with Linux or QNX-based operating systems.
  • Solid knowledge of software architecture, implementation, and testing principles.
  • Experience in industries with high reliability and quality demands, such as automotive, medical, or aerospace.
  • Ability to design technical solutions according to abstract business use cases.
  • Experience with C++ 11/14 or later, with Python being beneficial.
  • Familiarity with the Linux platform as both user and developer on multicore ARM-based SoCs.
  • Knowledge of ethernet communication protocols like RTSP, MQTT, and SOME/IP.
  • Familiarity with SiL and HiL testing integrated into CI/CD.
  • Experience with ROS/ROS2, AUTOSAR, and video streaming technologies/frameworks like gstreamer is a plus.
