Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering Team in Hamburg, Germany. As a key member of our team, you will apply engineering principles to develop large, complex software systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful software development and deployment.
Key Responsibilities:- Design software architectures and produce detailed technical specifications.
- Implement software solutions, including version control, unit tests, and continuous integration.
- Support and execute the software deployment process.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, including software designs, test specifications, and technical notes.
- Identify and implement software engineering process improvements.
- Extensive experience in the IT industry with a focus on Java (JEE) development.
- Fluent in German (written and spoken).
- Understanding of Web Service Security (WSS) and PKI infrastructures.
- Expertise in high-volume data processing.
- Experience in Oracle or PostgreSQL databases (table design, queries, optimization).
- Proficiency in XML, JSON, and front-end technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
- Good command of English (spoken and written).
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, or a related field.
- Certifications in relevant technologies or methodologies such as Java, Scrum, or UML.
