Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Logistics Manager to join our team at Denios. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading our internal logistics functions and ensuring the smooth operation of all logistical processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Development: Provide disciplinary and technical leadership to your team, driving their development and growth.
  • Supply Chain Performance: Ensure the optimal output of goods in terms of delivery quality for each production area.
  • Process Management: Oversee the efficient operation of all logistical processes.
  • Cost Reduction: Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities.
  • Asset Management: Ensure the provision, commissioning, maintenance, and preservation of technical equipment in logistics areas.
  • Goal Achievement: Ensure the achievement of agreed-upon goals and measures within the annual budget and beyond.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal regulations and DENIOS-specific guidelines, particularly in terms of occupational safety and environmental protection.
  • Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation within the logistics department.
  • Strategic Contributions: Provide strategic input and contribute to company planning and budgeting.
  • Performance Analysis: Analyze key performance indicators and ensure the achievement of target values.
  • 5S Analysis: Continuously analyze and identify potential improvements in the 5S area.
  • Shop Floor Management: Support and motivate team members in shop floor management.
  • Inventory Management: Prepare and conduct the annual inventory in SAP Warehouse Management.
Requirements
  • Experience: Comprehensive experience as a logistics manager.
  • Education: Completed training as a warehouse clerk, warehouse logistics specialist, or similar, with a preference for further training as a logistics manager.
  • Skills: Comprehensive knowledge and skills in logistics, including SAP knowledge with a focus on Warehouse Management and/or enhanced Warehouse Management.
  • Leadership: Ability to lead and motivate teams.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions.
