Senior Electrical Engineer: Hydrogen Technology

At Uniper, we are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical & C&I Engineering department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing growth projects to implement our Uniper Green Customer Strategy.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement electrical engineering plans, including tender documents and project execution in hydrogen technology, gas technology, and power generation.
  • Provide technical support to Uniper Business Lines in implementing our decarbonization strategy.
  • Ensure project execution complies with relevant technical rules, regulations, and laws.
  • Create energy supply concepts, including grid connections.
  • Develop technical standards for quality requirements in the planning phase.
  • Define and implement quality assurance measures.
  • Manage external planners for planning support and expansion of technological expertise.
  • Implement the Uniper safety culture in the planning phase.

Your Profile

  • University degree or equivalent education in electrical engineering.
  • Experience in dealing with suppliers (technical and commercial).
  • Project management experience in national and international implementation.
  • Strategic understanding of the Uniper transformation process and the Green Customer Strategy.
  • Strong process orientation, high sense of responsibility, and ability to work in a team.
  • Fluent in English and German, other languages welcome.
  • Willingness to travel.
