A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Fluid Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining auxiliary systems of steam-/gas turbine and generator, both in research and development and in first-time application of customer projects. Your day will be filled with various tasks, including explaining operational topics to internal colleagues, suppliers, or customers, and collaborating with a global cross-organizational team with different technical and cultural backgrounds.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Develop and maintain auxiliary systems for steam-/gas turbine and generator
  • Qualify possible suppliers for process engineering components/modules, check technical feasibility and manufacturing possibilities
  • Responsibility for supplier selection, reviews, and execution of the first project
  • R&D budget and schedule responsibility
  • Prepare standard documents and specifications (incl. drawings, calculation tools, data sheets, system piping & instrumentation diagrams, I&C, etc.)
  • Perform cross-functional interface clarification with internal and external parties (supplier, customer, engineering network)
  • Be part of an inspiring team of engineers in a global team

What You Bring

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in the field of process engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable discipline
  • Many years of professional experience and good knowledge in at least one of the above-mentioned disciplines
  • Experience in a process industry-related environment (power generation, oil and gas) is beneficial
  • Profound knowledge in the use of MS-Office
  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to jointly develop innovative solutions in interdisciplinary teams
  • Analytical mindset and systematic work approach
  • Understanding customer requirements, developing concepts and solutions
