Job Summary
Mondelēz International is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Operations Leader to lead the production operations in our Plant and drive key performance targets in safety, quality, productivity, volumes, cost, sustainability, and organizational morale.
About the Role
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing and driving our manufacturing strategy to achieve business objectives and ensure a high-performing organization.
- Managing change and transformation initiatives, including the implementation of IL6S-Integrated Lean 6 sigma phase journey, FoF-Factory of Future Line centric organization & roles, and an integrated 6 star model within operating Line teams.
- Supporting the development of annual operational plans and targets to meet Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, and Engagement goals.
- Leading and being accountable for establishing a strong Governance to Review, Control Operational performance and Continuous Improvement plan and embed a zero loss mindset.
- Driving the Operating team to identify and manage improvements to technology, culture, capability, and operating systems to deliver a best practice and reliable operation.
- Ensuring all Manufacturing standards, Governance, Compliance requirements are in place, understood by all, and regularly reviewed and monitored for effective implementation.
- Leading and being accountable for Talent, Capabilities & Engagement for the Manufacturing team, including identifying and implementing critical levers to attract, retain, and develop critical talent.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong operational and manufacturing leadership experience in the CPG industry, with experience in TPM-Total productive maintenance, 5s, LEAN, 6 sigma tools and concepts.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and leadership skills in a team-based environment, with demonstrated abilities in Analytics, problem-solving, and team building.
- An Engineer with a strong financial and business acumen, project management skills, and knowledge of industrial maintenance and manufacturing equipment.
- Fluent skills in German and English language.
