Data Engineer

JSP International GmbH, a leading provider of thermoplastic foams, is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team in Düsseldorf. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and storage solutions tailored to the unique needs of Industry 4.0 manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement data pipelines and storage solutions to support manufacturing data processing and analysis.
- Ensure seamless integration of data from diverse sources, including IoT sensors, machinery, and production systems.
- Develop algorithms and processes for cleaning, aggregating, and enriching manufacturing data.
- Optimize data workflows and processing pipelines to handle large volumes of real-time data efficiently and reliably.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions that support data-driven decision-making in manufacturing operations.
- Monitor data quality and integrity, implementing measures to identify and address anomalies or discrepancies in manufacturing data.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering, continuously evaluating and implementing innovative solutions to enhance data infrastructure and capabilities.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data engineering methodologies, tools, and techniques, with hands-on experience in building data pipelines and storage solutions using Microsoft technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable and reliable data architectures to support manufacturing data processing and analysis.
- Familiarity with Microsoft technology stack, including.NET framework, C#, and ASP.NET.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps for managing data engineering workflows, version control, and supporting continuous integration and deployment processes.
- Knowledge of T-SQL for database testing, querying, and data manipulation tasks.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to identify data quality issues and optimize data processing workflows.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to engaging with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
