About the Role
We are seeking a talented design student to join our Strategic Frontrunner Projects Team as a working student for UX/UI design. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects that emphasize the value proposition of the SAP Business Technology Platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on innovative projects that emphasize the value proposition of the SAP Business Technology Platform
- Explore different design solutions, create storyboards, user flows, mockups, and prototypes to visualize and share ideas with the development team
- Interact with users to perform user research, user testing, experience mapping, and high-fidelity UI designs and prototypes
- Support the team with the creation of compelling and understandable visualizations for technical presentations
Requirements
- Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences in Interface Design, User Experience Design, Interaction Design, or a related field
- A design portfolio showcasing UX as well as UI work
- Solid understanding of the design process and related methodologies: Design Thinking, User Research, Usability Testing, and Prototyping in all kinds of fidelities
- Passion for translating complex problems into elegant and user-friendly solutions by following UX/UI Design principles
- A great eye for detail, especially when it comes to UI and Visual Design
- Experience in creating low and high-fidelity prototypes with design tools (e.g. Figma)
- Experience in designing for AR/VR applications is a plus
- Experience in working with Data Visualizations is a plus
- Fluent in German or English (written and spoken)
- Eager to learn about new technologies
- Hands-on, reliable, and open-minded mentality
- Strong team working skills
- Determined to reach a goal in time, to work independently, and to prioritize tasks
About the Team
Our Strategic Projects team is a dynamic team at the heart of the 'Business Technology Platform (BTP) Foundation Engineering' unit. We focus on innovative solutions for cross-BTP topics, and enhancing BTP products and services. We prepare keynotes and provide expert insights for strategic BTP technology topics. Our team is sectioned into dedicated and functional focus areas, working collaboratively with other SAP teams to realize our mission.
