Fire Service Inspector

At Dusseldorf Airport, we are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Training and Development department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for training and development, as mandated by governing bodies such as the Bezirksregierung and EASA (ICAO).
  • Take charge of incident response, disaster management, and training exercises, working in a 24-hour shift rotation.
  • Support the planning and execution of emergency response, large-scale, and evacuation drills.
  • Prepare expert opinions and reports on fire service-related matters.
  • Conduct in-depth analyses and evaluations of processes to ensure quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to plan and manage personnel, including conducting performance reviews and leading LOB discussions.

Responsibilities in the Field:

  • Internal and external training program planning.
  • Conceptualization of exams and B3/B4 selection processes.
  • Documentation of all training activities for quality assurance purposes.
  • Support for trainees in their fire service duties.

Requirements:

  • Completed training for the entry-level position in the fire service career path (Laufbahngruppe 2) in North Rhine-Westphalia.
  • Successful completion of the Verbandsführer F/B 5.1 and 5.2 training program, or willingness to pursue it.
  • Leadership experience.
  • Auditor certification in accordance with the Ausbildereignungsverordnung, or willingness to obtain it.
  • Valid G 26.3 certification.
  • Strong leadership and social skills, as well as the ability to make decisions.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a willingness to take on new challenges.
  • Effective communication and conflict resolution skills.

    Working Conditions:
