Fördermittel- und Finanzexperte

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fördermittelmanager to join our team at EDG Entsorgung Dortmund GmbH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for acquiring and managing funding opportunities for our climate protection and infrastructure projects.

• Identify and evaluate relevant funding programs from the EU, federal government, and state government
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive overview of funding opportunities, taking into account changing legal and regulatory frameworks
• Acquire and apply for funding opportunities in various areas, including climate protection, infrastructure, and mobility
• Support the preparation and implementation of tenders and procurement procedures for climate protection and adaptation projects
• Assist in the preparation of scientific and technical reports and documentation, as required for funding programs
• Provide administrative project management support, including communication, budgeting, and project control
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies and other organizations
• Document and maintain records of funding applications and approvals

• Master's degree in a relevant field, such as economics or engineering
• Proven experience in funding, finance, and/or project management, preferably in the public sector
• Knowledge of funding procedures, from identification to application and documentation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex information
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and SAP
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
• Strong organizational and time management skills
