Exciting Opportunity in IT System Administration

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at GETEC Gruppe. As a key member of our System Engineering team, you will be responsible for the installation, operation, and maintenance of our IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implement IT Infrastructure: Develop and implement concepts to enhance communication with systems, particularly in network topology and data processing security.
  • Hardware and Software Support: Install, configure, and support IT hardware such as firewalls, routers, switches, as well as software for domain controllers, DNS, file servers, and system-specific software.
  • Availability and Troubleshooting: Ensure the availability of IT services and troubleshoot outages to minimize downtime.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Create comprehensive documentation to support your work and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements for the Role
  • Technical Degree or Equivalent Experience: A technical degree or equivalent experience in IT system administration is required.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of network and server services, Windows Server, networking protocols, and IT security is essential.
  • Additional Skills: Familiarity with monitoring, Linux servers, IP routing, VMware ESXi, Microsoft IIS, and IT security is a plus.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in German and basic English skills are required.
