About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer to join our team at Peter Park. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our software development culture and contributing to the growth of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable, efficient, and well-documented backend services using Python and the Flask Web Framework.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate backend services with frontend applications and other microservices.
  • Ensure data persistence using PostgresSQL and AWS S3, and infrastructure provisioning using Terraform.
  • Participate in code reviews, contribute to the development of clean, well-tested, and well-refactored code.
  • Work closely with the team to identify and prioritize project requirements, and develop solutions that meet business needs.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably with Python, C++, or related languages.
  • Profound knowledge of Python and experience with popular frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of SQL and database design.
  • Strong written and spoken English (level C1). German is not required.
