Introduction


We are seeking a Lead Backend Developer (m/f/x) to become a vital part of our enterprise console team, dedicated to the development and upkeep of our high-performance game server orchestrator along with various other services.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and testing scalable and dependable web APIs that drive our enterprise console.

You will collaborate closely with fellow engineers, product managers, and designers to ensure an exceptional user experience. Your work will involve a modern technology stack, including Go, Kubernetes, and other cloud-native solutions. Additionally, you will have the chance to learn from and contribute to our open-source initiatives.
Your Responsibilities

You will spearhead the design, development, and maintenance of web APIs that enhance the features and functionalities of the enterprise console.


Your focus will be on ensuring the highest quality, performance, and security of the backend code and infrastructure by applying industry best practices, conducting thorough code reviews, and engaging in rigorous testing and monitoring.

You will diagnose and resolve complex issues across the entire technology stack, providing root cause analysis and effective solutions.


Collaboration with other engineers, product managers, and designers will be essential to deliver user-centric solutions that align with both business and technical requirements.

You will also offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, sharing your expertise and knowledge with the team.


Staying current with the latest trends and technologies in backend development will be crucial, as you evaluate and adopt new tools and frameworks as necessary.

Your Qualifications

You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or possess equivalent professional experience.

You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in backend development, with a preference for expertise in Go.

You demonstrate strong proficiency in designing scalable and fault-tolerant web APIs, utilizing modern principles such as Event-Driven Design.

You have experience with Kubernetes, distributed systems, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms.

You are familiar with testing frameworks, CI/CD tools, and code quality tools.

You possess excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

Experience in game development and creating products for developers is preferred.
