We are seeking a skilled Applications Engineer for Data Center Solutions in the EMEA region to become a vital part of our team. In this role, you will act as a product and system authority throughout the EMEA area, collaborating closely with external partners and clients to ensure that Data Center network architectures are in harmony with our product offerings. Additionally, you will contribute significantly to the creation of new IT tools and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with partners and clients on network architecture
- Develop Bills of Materials and comprehensive diagrams
- Offer technical assistance and training
- Guide clients on product applications and advantages
- Produce technical documentation and client communications
- Deliver support during pre-sales and post-sales phases
- Provide insights for product enhancements
- Oversee equipment inventory
- Participate in the development of IT tools
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 2-5 years of experience in Telecom, IT, or Datacom
- Excellent communication abilities
- Experience in Data Center or Telecom Network Design
- Background in technical support
- Capability to convey technical concepts effectively
- Familiarity with programming languages
- Strong computer proficiency
Desired Skills:
- Mechanical troubleshooting expertise
- Knowledge of Telecom equipment configuration
- Project Management capabilities
- Proficient language skills
Travel Requirements:
- Willingness to travel up to 25% within the EMEA region
- Ability to travel on short notice if necessary
- Commitment to a minimum 40-hour work week, including potential weekend work
