Key Responsibilities

  • Engineer and innovate battery energy storage systems (BESS) that are integrated with renewable energy sources such as solar and wind.
  • Conduct comprehensive feasibility assessments and site evaluations for BESS projects.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective integration of BESS with solar photovoltaic (PV) and wind energy systems.
  • Execute in-depth engineering analyses, including sizing, modeling, and simulation of BESS.
  • Create and review technical specifications, schematics, and documentation for BESS initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, regulations, and safety measures.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of BESS installations, identifying areas for enhancement.
  • Provide expert technical assistance during the commissioning and testing phases of BESS.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements in BESS technology and solar engineering.
  • Mentor and support fellow engineers, sharing expertise and best practices.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in solar engineering and the design and implementation of BESS.
  • In-depth knowledge of solar PV systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Proficient in BESS technologies, such as lithium-ion batteries, battery management systems, and power conversion technologies.
  • Experience with energy management software, simulation tools, and modeling platforms.
  • Familiarity with grid integration, power electronics, and control systems for renewable energy applications.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to resolve complex technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proven track record of effective teamwork.
  • Project management experience is advantageous.
