Electrical Harness Design Engineer

Job Overview:

Embark on an exciting journey with STRATO Personal GmbH as we seek a dedicated professional for the role of Harness Routing Designer (d/f/m) to work on prestigious projects for our esteemed client, Airbus Helicopters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop 3D designs for electrical cable assemblies (EHI: Electrical Harness Installation module in CATIA V5).
  • Conduct installation studies and position cable brackets in a 3D environment.
  • Create production-ready design drawings (2D).
  • Generate interface drawings that bridge electrical and structural departments (3D).
  • Design cable bundle installations (3D).
  • Apply knowledge of electrical wiring bundle installation regulations.
  • Perform impact analyses for proposed changes.
  • Collaborate with various development teams.
  • Manage Digital Mock-Up (DMU) processes.
  • Provide customer support during individual part construction and in Final Assembly Line (FAL) processes.

Candidate Profile:

  • A completed degree in Aerospace Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Alternatively, a completed vocational training with further qualifications as a technician along with relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in engineering roles.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems.
  • Proficient in design integration.
  • Advanced skills in CATIA V5.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
