About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Operator to join our team at STRATO Personal GmbH. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, preparing raw material and fixtures, and working on highly complex prototype and production components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain CNC milling machines and CNC lathes to produce high-quality components
  • Prepare raw material and fixtures for production
  • Work on complex prototype and production components, including independent control of components with modern measuring equipment
  • Assist in the continuous process optimization of workflows and optimize the life and use of cutting tools
  • Work cross-functionally with related departments to improve processes, equipment, and tooling, and machining efficiency
  • Assist the Manufacturing Lab team in the development of tooling and new equipment commissioning and implementation
Requirements
  • Educational background as a Cutting machine Operator, Toolmaker, CNC Technician, or similar
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with 3-axis or 5-axis machining center required
  • Experience in conversational programming beneficial (Siemens 840D and/or Mazatrol SmoothX)
  • Experience with conventional lathe, surface grinder, and milling machines beneficial
  • Ability to work from complex and detailed documentation and/or verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to read and understand manufacturing instructions, setup sheets, and technical documentation
  • Experience with operating and maintaining a wide variety of hand and power tools, shop tools, and test equipment
  • High level of self-reliance with the ability to work both in a team and autonomously
  • Very good technical English language skills required; German language is a plus
