About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Tooling Specialist to join our team at Freudenberg. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for the initial start-up and processing of all molding machines, robots, and auxiliary equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and process new, transferred, and modified molds, ensuring high-quality production.
  • Collaborate with production personnel and R&D to ensure molded components meet requirements, making adjustments as needed.
  • Provide molded components in a timely manner, meeting customer expectations.
  • Work with outside vendors to develop tooling and fixtures that result in the manufacturing of high-quality products.
  • Follow Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Lean standards.

Organization:

Reports to: Technical Manager

Interactions:

  • Injection Molding
  • Quality
  • HSE
  • R&D

Qualifications:

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Minimum of at least 3+ years working in an injection molding environment, specifically with molds.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, and Continuous Improvement culture.
  • Knowledge of electric, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and automation.
  • Some experience in manufacturing is preferred.
  • Basic math skills and good use of logic.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination along with ability to work quickly and accurately for performing repetitive tasks.
