Job Overview

DB InfraGO AG is seeking a skilled Track Builder/Switch Mechanic to join our team at our locations in Braunschweig, Einbeck, Göttingen, Hameln, Hannover, Lehrte, or Wunstorf.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the facilities in the track area are available according to requirements to guarantee safe, punctual, and cost-effective operations in the context of order processing (inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair)
  • Comply with the applicable regulations of DB Netz AG and the maintenance management framework with operational requirements
  • Adhere to economic principles in your daily work according to technical rules
  • Execute tasks assigned by District Manager/Team Leader/Scheduler accurately and on time

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Qualification as a Track Builder or Switch Mechanic or equivalent qualification in Mechanics or Electrical/Electronics
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience in maintenance, proficiency in using the Office 365 package is desirable
  • Strengths include initiative, organizational skills, teamwork, resilience, and business acumen
  • Willingness for internal training and occasional night shifts, valid driver's license required
