About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Technician for Industrial Security Technology to join our team at Salzgitter Digital Solutions GmbH. As a key member of our Monitoring and Control Systems team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and integration of security systems, video technology, and other related systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and maintain security systems, including video technology, intercom, intrusion detection, and evacuation systems.
  • Mount and manufacture brackets, housings, mounting plates, and mechanical special devices.
  • Integrate security systems into existing structures and provide comprehensive advice on system solutions.
  • Train users on systems, facilities, and components, and conduct service-oriented customer discussions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation within the scope of tasks.
  • Prepare service reports, including measurements, and assist in planning and designing security systems and related applications.
  • Participate in on-call duty and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Requirements
  • Completed training in a recognized electronic profession, such as Electronics Technician for Information and Communication Technology or Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology.
  • Professional experience in one or more of the above areas.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products and willing to further educate yourself in related technologies.
  • Customer-oriented behavior and ability to work independently as a team player.
  • Valid driver's license.
