Software Countermeasures against Side-Channel Analysis for Post-Quantum Cryptography

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated student to work on a Master Thesis project focused on software countermeasures against side-channel analysis for post-quantum cryptography. The project will involve implementing and evaluating software countermeasures on micro-controllers, as well as developing and evaluating improved countermeasures.

Responsibilities

  • Implement known software countermeasures on micro-controllers
  • Evaluate countermeasures using methods like TVLA
  • Develop and evaluate improved countermeasures

Requirements

  • Currently studying Computer Science, Mathematics, or a comparable subject
  • Experience with side-channel analysis
  • Strong implementation skills with Arm Cortex-M4 micro-controllers (C and Assembly)
