Position OverviewAs a Field Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering immediate technical assistance and crafting quotations that align with customer needs and budgetary constraints, all while adhering to our sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver prompt technical support to the sales team throughout the sales cycle.
- Prepare comprehensive sales quotations, including necessary calculations, in collaboration with the Account/Sales Manager.
- Assist the Account Manager or Sales Manager during customer presentations and negotiations.
- Review customer purchase orders and sales contracts to ensure alignment with initial quotations, addressing any discrepancies.
- Evaluate commercial and financial terms and conditions.
- Oversee the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT).
- Organize customer projects, defining schedules and work packages for the preparation of technical documentation.
- Address customer inquiries regarding signed contracts and verify changes against agreed quotations.
- Foster strong internal and external relationships with all relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain efficient administration of quotations.
- Ensure updates are reflected in the CRM system.
- Conduct contract reviews and project follow-ups.
- Monitor milestones and completion of work packages.
- Adhere to the company's Quality, Environmental, and Safety regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualifications.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in a related industry, ideally complemented by commercial exposure.
- Strong understanding of power electronic products and solutions.
- Familiarity with target markets and customer needs.
- Knowledge of commercial and contract law.
- Proficient in computer applications.
- Fluency in English is essential.
