Your Role: Join us in Hamburg and engage in one of the most stimulating M&A environments, all while enjoying a picturesque office view. As an M&A Associate, you will take charge of M&A transactions from the initial pitch to the final closing. Collaborating closely with our partners, you will face diverse and challenging tasks, assuming significant responsibilities from the outset.

Your Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Overseeing national and international M&A projects
  • Direct interaction with founders, shareholders, and management teams of our clients
  • Creating comprehensive client presentations and sale memoranda
  • Conducting independent research on national and international markets, sectors, and competitive landscapes
  • Preparing and executing Sell-Side and Buy-Side Due Diligence assessments
  • Developing and reviewing company valuations
  • Analyzing, modeling, and validating corporate and business plans
  • Coaching and mentoring junior analysts
Qualifications:

Desired Skills:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in M&A, Transaction Services, Private Equity/Venture Capital, Management Consulting, or Business Development (international experience is a plus)
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in economics with a finance concentration and strong academic performance
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual abilities
  • Experience with Due Diligence processes on either the Buy or Sell Side
  • High initiative, independence, and motivation
  • Interest in the digital economy and familiarity with relevant business models
  • Fluency in both German and English
  • Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
