We are seeking a knowledgeable Data Management Specialist to enhance our Data Governance team at ILB, the primary funding body for the Brandenburg region. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to the evolution of our data framework and its effective application within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion data management initiatives across various projects within ILB.
  • Offer expert advice and support on data-related matters to multiple departments.
  • Evaluate existing and future data management challenges and formulate strategic solutions.
  • Engage with cross-departmental teams to refine data management workflows.
  • Keep abreast of developments in data governance and assist colleagues as necessary.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proactive and analytical mindset towards problem-solving.
  • Extensive practical experience in data management disciplines.
  • Familiarity with Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Architecture, and Metadata Management.
  • Capability to assess data processes, identify enhancements, and communicate effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for collaborative work.
  • A background in (Business) Informatics, Process Management, or Finance is a plus.
