C++ Programmer

Position Overview

As a Software Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and implementation of software solutions that facilitate the integration of charging infrastructure for electric mobility within distribution networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the team in the analysis, design, implementation, and documentation of software solutions aimed at enhancing the network-friendly integration of e-mobility charging infrastructure.
• Develop data integration processes from low-voltage networks and connected charging stations, incorporating geospatial systems into our network control system, PSIControl.
• Lead the integration, testing, and commissioning of these solutions in customer projects.
• Identify, analyze, and document issues, implementing effective technical solutions.
• Engage in national research and development initiatives related to the aforementioned areas as required.

Qualifications

• A degree in engineering, natural sciences, or computer science (university or equivalent).
• A strong passion for contributing to the energy and mobility transition through the development of software solutions that support the growth of electric mobility.
• Experience in software development, ideally acquired during your educational journey.
• Proficiency in C/C++ with a solid understanding of object-oriented software development using contemporary standards and frameworks.
• Familiarity with modern software development tools, collaborative teamwork, and agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of Linux, Java development, geospatial systems, and a foundational understanding of energy and/or electrical engineering is advantageous.
• A proactive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and a commitment to excellence.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to work.
• Ability to work independently, responsibly, and with a focus on quality.
• Fluency in both German and English is essential.
